FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Holland Brown Books Proudly Publishes Wander Louisville

DEFINITIVE NEW VISUAL GUIDEBOOK ARRIVES ON STORE SHELVES TUESDAY, JUNE 2

Louisville, Kentucky -June 2nd, 2015 – The locally based team at Wander Louisville proudly announces the release of their full-length, 240-page city guidebook published by Holland Brown Books.

With recent travel buzz on Louisville, Kentucky reaching a fever pitch, city natives Owen Graham and Dan Hendrickson felt it was time for Louisville to tell its own story in a visually compelling, homegrown guidebook. Wander Louisville is a creative reinvention of the travel guidebook two years in the making, inspiring visitors and locals to explore the city with rich storytelling narrative. This comprehensive guidebook covers everything from historic Whiskey Row to the legend of the “Pope Lick Monster.”

Graham and Hendrickson take readers on a colorful meander through their beloved hometown in this definitive guide to dining, drinking, arts, and culture in the home of the Kentucky Derby. Over 200 independent local businesses and attractions are profiled in this guide, whose fresh, ad-free design features full-color photos on every page.

Graham and Hendrickson both credit their desire to promote the story and culture of Louisville to their formative experiences (and first meeting) at the 2003 Kentucky Governor’s Scholar Program. Today that vision has been fulfilled in the form of a book that will leave readers ready to Wander Louisville.

Wander Louisville is available for $24 at Carmichael’s, Revelry, and WHY Louisville starting today, as well as online at WanderLouisville.com and Amazon.com. An official book launch party will occur on 13 June at The Green Building (732 E Market St) with further details to come.
